I think it's time I try and take this a little more seriously again. After a painfully long creative block, I think I've got my inspiration back and I'm hoping to get out more with my camera once again which naturally would mean submitting more stuff on here. My gallery was starting to look a bit cluttered so I've deleted a ton of stuff and put the ones I'm not overly keen on but couldn't bring myself to delete/I was too lazy to individually delete in storage. In the process of deleting I found a load of works I'd completely forgotten I'd even taken back from when I was 16 and had just joined DeviantArt, there was some really embarrassing o

Things.

I should probably be asleep right now but I feel like making an update. Noteworthy things that have happened since I last updated; - I've started uni and I have my first exam on monday next week, so far me and science are getting along rather nicely. Doesn't stop the exam nerves though. - I completed my 365 project, I just haven't uploaded all of my pictures to flickr. I'll post a screenshot of the folder they're all in eventually. - I deactivated my facebook account a few months ago. I'd only intended on leaving for a month to focus on uni and my first NaNoWriMo (I failed at 30k, boo!) but then I realised that I didn't really want to use

You're quite successful, and your hairs are beautiful.
Hope you have a wonderful day as the anniversary of your birth, giving the world someone as excellent as you :)
you are most welcomed :)
Was wondering if you could give me some advice on a camera. I'm just looking for a high end digital to get good make up shot *aspiring make up artist here) and generally just take good photos. I'm not that into it to be investing in a SLR!

I came across the Nikon coolpix L110.

Any word on it.

Thanks from a camera noob :P
Yeah, no problem. Although I don't know if this will be of much help. =P
I've never used a Nikon coolpix but I hear they're good! The camera I use when I can't be arsed carrying my SLR about with me is a Fujifilm finepix S5800 which I'd highly recommend. It's a bit on the chunky side but it has brilliant image stabilisation and macro/closeup settings which I imagine would be good for make up shots. As far as I know you can get them quite reasonably too, mine cost me just under £100 but that was two years ago so it's probably cheaper now.
